Jessica specializes in custom color with an emphasis on gray blending, helping women confidently embrace the natural transition to gray with soft, low-maintenance color that grows out beautifully. Rather than chasing trends, she believes in creating timeless, customized results that fit each client's lifestyle while maintaining the health and integrity of their hair.
Alongside her salon career, photography has become another creative outlet that has grown into a thriving business. What began with a few family sessions for friends has expanded into portraits for families, seniors, professionals, and small businesses. Jessica loves preserving genuine moments and creating images that tell authentic stories. With both indoor studio and outdoor portrait options available, she enjoys crafting sessions that are relaxed, fun, and uniquely tailored to every client.
As an entrepreneur at heart, Jessica loves building businesses that strengthen her community. From salon services and photography to thoughtfully curated boutique gifts, The Studio on Main St. reflects her desire to create a place where people feel welcomed, encouraged, and inspired.
When she's not working, you'll most likely find Jessica spending time with her husband and their four children, serving at church, cheering from the sidelines of a ballgame, or dreaming up her next creative project.

Jessica has always believed that creativity is meant to serve people. Whether she's behind the chair, behind the camera, or dreaming up a new idea for her business, her greatest joy is helping others feel seen, confident, and cared for.
That passion began early. At just 16 years old, Jessica launched her first business teaching piano lessons. By the age of 18, she had built a studio of 15 students, allowing her to pay her way through cosmetology school. In 2010, she graduated from Stewarts School of Cosmetology and began her career as a hairstylist, quickly discovering that creating beautiful hair was about much more than appearances—it was about helping people feel like the best version of themselves.
Music has always remained close to Jessica's heart. After six years behind the chair, she pursued a degree in Music in Ministry through the University of Sioux Falls. During that season, she met her husband, and together they moved to Salem, South Dakota, where they served in church ministry through worship and pastoral leadership. While ministry became the focus for a time, Jessica always knew cosmetology would remain part of her calling. When their family returned home, she eagerly rebuilt her clientele and continued growing the career she loves.
Today, Jessica is the owner of The Studio on Main St.—a space designed to bring together her passions for beauty, creativity, and genuine connection. The studio offers a quiet, personalized experience where every guest receives one-on-one attention in a welcoming, relaxing environment.
